Dear Club members,
the membership stamps are available at our office. Members who cannot personally collect the stamps, will receive them via mail, together with an EU paying-in slip.
The membership fee is € 60,00 per year. The stamp for the huts is free of charge (!) and is imprinted onto the association stamp (VAVÖ). The stamp guarantees reciprocity in other huts.
Please pay the fee by the end of March at the latest. As of the 10th of April, we claim a reminder charge of € 3.00. Please do not forget to fill in your name and address. The signatures are often illegible!
If you wish, you can also pay your membership fee in cash at the Club House. The Austrian Alpine Club expresses its thanks for any donation.
Yours Gerda Watschinger, Club secretary
All members of the Austrian Alpine Club receive the Club’s newspaper, the “Österreichische Alpenzeitung“, free of charge. They enjoy all membership rights in the Club’s hut, the Erzherzog Johann Hut on the Adlersruh of the Großglockner Mountain in Austria and are also entitled to price reductions in national and international alpine huts or shelters, covered by special mutual agreements. Furthermore, all members have free access to the Club’s Library, one of the biggest alpine libraries in the German-speaking world.
